For Sale: 2016 Ambertone Martin OM21

Very good condition, absolute canon of a Martin Ambertone OM21. Case candy included.

This guitar sounds and plays gloriously. Loud, balanced. I've played several OM21s over the years and this is the best I've ever played.

This one appears to have the glue issue that some Martins have at the binding. I have close up pics on the Reverb link. I had my luthier inspect it and he said it is cosmetic, but if you look close it is definitely noticeable. It will bother some and not others of course.

This is the modern run of standard Martins with ebony fingerboards, scalloped bracing and open tuners. This one comes with the upgraded hard shell case, the TKL 533, a $350 extra value. Sturdier than standard, nice leather handle and plush wine colored interior.

I have also installed what I consider to be the finest pickup available - the Schatten HFN. If you're not familiar, the HFN is a sound board transducer like a K&K, but the sound is a much higher fidelity and much more accurate representation of the guitar. Plus, it installs with putty rather than glue, so can be removed with ease. This pickup can handle high volumes, but is also fantastic for finger style nuance.

I have priced it lower than other ambertones available due to the binding situation.
