Default Visited Rudy's new store

My grandson and I visited the Scarsdale store just now. They have a varied inventory with a couple of Froggy Bottoms for that drool factor, lol.

Again I ran into a Lutz topped 714ce Taylor which caught my ear and eye at GC. I know it's not cedar, but .....

The two young people who were staffing the store were very nice and when I inquired about a cedar top at the 714 price point the young lady checked their NYC inventory for me.

It was a good way to kill a little time today.

I remember Scarsdale. We used to try to avoid the place. The cops always used to look at you like they knew you did not belong there.

Just keep in mind its not Guitar Center. Every guitar, and I mean every guitar, from the A&L and Seagulls to the Froggy Bottoms had a string clip device over the strings at the sound hole that read "Please ask for assistance" or something very similar.

I'm sure if you are a serious buyer, they will let you play whatever. If I do go for a 714ce (lutz/rosewood) I'll probably go there to pick one out as I now know that no one jumps up and down on them there,

Plus there's a StarBucks up and across the street too.
