Any resonator lover has to be excited about Mule. The fact that the market makes such a venture worthwhile is such a shock to those of us who have lusted after Nationals since the 1970's. Really shows that Don Young was right. The Cheap imports really did help the American maker market.

Strange old pic Fogrider.

Those two , and their pristine "work clothes" look like very unconvincing lumberjacks. Neither do the guitars appear to have had any use.

Or am I missing something ? Are these fellahs a well known duo and I am the only one here who never heard of them before ?

Ahhh you guys suck! I just told my wife that my recent guitar purchase was going to be it for a while. Now I want a resonator as my slide guitar, sigh.

Some nice resonators, folks. I'd love to come across a Mule; they look interesting.

Found a fully strung photo:

I've seen one of these washing machine, hubcap, car bumper, heating radiator grate (did I leave anything out?) guitars at Cowtown in Las Vegas; they're bizarre in that cool kinda' way! Speaking of cool. I always liked the plectrum over and under strings thing! I know lots of folks don't, but it reminds me of a boyfriend a zillion years ago.
