Lot's of interest and offers coming in on this one. I'll be surprised it if lasts through the weekend.

I offer no return policy - I'm not an online dealer.

What I do offer is an honest assessment of the guitar with detailed photos that show any and all issues. I'm always happy to discuss details about guitars I'm selling via email, phone, text or video chat. I have a long track record here on AGF buying, selling and trading and many will attest to doing deals with me as positive experiences.

I have a very similar guitar. Mine is a 2000 model short scale. It has been a keeper since I purchased it new from The Music Emporium. A great all around guitar. I can tell you, however, that it has a Sitka Spruce top to go along with the IR back and sides. That was the specification at that time. It also has a 2 3/16" string spacing. I think the European Spruce must be a newer specification for their current guitars.

That said, I wouldn't part for mine for anything close to $2500. I believe whoever buys this guitar will be very happy. GLWS.

I'm beginning to suspect that is the case, that this is sitka and the 'standard' on the website changed to European spruce. I believe mine is 2 3/16" as well although it feels a little wider than my last three SC guitars. I'm going to update my ads here and on Reverb.

I bought a sc om sitka EIR from Rudy's in NYC, that I compared to several guitars in $10k range. The SC sounded superior to my ears.

Richard Hoover is the master.

I think you are priced under market. Best on your sale.

Thanks - I agree on all points! This is the fourth SC guitar I've owned and every single one has been just incredible. I think it's a very good price given the minor wear. I thought about starting higher but figured I'd go for the fast sale. Lot's of interest here and on Reverb. Also posted locally.

I’m surprised this is still here at that price. Don’t force the sale...I think very few people are actually shopping in mid to late summer. September is usually a better time.

Thanks, you are of course quite right. My problem is that once I decide to sell a guitar (or two, as in this case) I get it in my head that I want it to happen quickly so I can move onto the next 'final lineup'! Starting to get a lot of local interest so might just sit tight. But there's also some interesting trade offers which although they might not be guitars I'd keep, would be fun to play and flip. Time will tell, but I thank you for those words.
