Default Cocobolo/euro headed for LaConner

This is my "West Coast" model that has a 16 inch lower bout and a 25.5 inch string length. Three bevel two on the waist for symmetry and and arm rest. All the black stuff is A.blackwood, bridge is BRW, and the neck is curly black walnut.

Good grief that's gorgeous John ... especially like the rose and the cutaway treatment on the front ... wow!

Thanks very much David. Are you going to La Conner?

That's quite the stunning guitar, John--I'm sure she must sound wonderful as well!

Smile Woohoo!

Yow! What a looker.

I especially like the cutaway treatment. And I like the new/old bridge shape a lot. Looks quite businesslike!

Somehow I doubt either this or the B/W Ebony 00 will follow you home!

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Paul
You can probably see some of your influence in various design elements

Beautiful guitar, John. Surprised to see such dark brown cocobolo. The headstock looks to be Brazilian or is it too dark brown cocobolo?

Ken

A beautiful instrument, John! I love the aesthetic, modern, but still traditional somehow... The Cocobolo is exceptional.

It made me curious so I checked out your website. The African Blackwood/Bearclaw Sitka OOO sounds INSANE.

A lovely guitar! The burst on the neck and back bevels are very striking.

Thanks Kenneth
The headstock is Brazillian (if I remember correctly)

Hey bro, this is the one I was talking about.
It's what made me realize that having tables (at La Conner) that are separated is a good thing. Yea, a mercy.
Were we next to each other, no one would look at my work--except to throw sticks at it. This guitar should generate some real interest!

Thanks brother. A kind if slightly ridiculous remark. I’m like the Red Queen, just running hard to stay in one place.

Hey Steve, it is one thing to be humble and another to be silly! Your work is OUTSTANDING in look, feel and TONE!!!
You both (and Ryan too) deserve fame and RICHES. really!

So there. And I am sure John will agree.

I hope you all have a wonderful time at LaConner and all go home empty handed with heavily upgraded bank accounts.

Cheers

Paul

Default Beautiful

Very nice John. If it sounds and plays as nice as the one you made me it will blow some minds.
