You guys have choices? GHS is the only 14-60 set I've been able to find so far.

Default Dogal V-series 80/20

I asked my fellow staff and a couple people mentioned the Dogal 80/20's. Not as well known but they make some really great strings.

Ernie Ball Earthwood 80/20 medium light are my new favorites (12-54). And they only cost 5 to 6 $.

Gibson Masterbuilt 80-20’s
GHS Bright Bronze (80-20’s)
Curt Mangan 80-20’s Hex Core or Round Core
Newtone Masterclass 80-20’s

I’ve tried all these. They are all good

I like the Dogal Nightclub V25 Flat wound Bronze. They are Round core.

They're also about 5x the price of vanilla 80/20.

I personally haven't played those but our customers that buy them really really like those and praise them highly.

The V25 tension seems low on 25.5" scale compared to other strings I've tried in similar string set size.
Do you know the tension value of the V25 and other the Nightclub string sets ?

I've been going through a whole lot of strings this last year of 80/20 for my guitar. Here are the strings that I love the sound of:

1) John Pearse 80/20
2) Philippe Bosset 80/20
3) GHS Contact Core Bright Bronze
4) D'Addario 80/20

John Pearse just die within a week for me.

The Philippe are very sensitive to touch and dynamics! I had a set on for about 2 months and they sounded incredible as non-treated strings. See them here: https://www.stringsbymail.com/philip...2-53-7842.html

Should be listed on our website for each set:

The V25 is listed as Extra Light, there aren't any numerical tension values.

Hmmm, so it seems. I'll have to contact Dogal and get back to you.
