For many years now, all my T shirts are the plain, no logo, solid color ones from American Eagle...no more expensive than any decent T, and I buy a stack of them when they run the bogo sales...they fit good, launder well, and they last for several years.

Used to like Patagonia Tshirts, but usually avoid logos nowadays. I have some that are 20 years old with lots of wear. So comfortable.
In recent years, I have found LL Bean "Carefree Unshrinkable T Shirts" fit perfectly and last. Less expensive too. Prefer pockets. Like the colors too. |

t-shirts are so hit and miss...the best ones that I have found are located randomly when out shopping. Mail order t-shirts vary so much in feel, fit and thickness that I can't really offer help since my luck is varied.
Had to google painters pants...the pictures I saw were what we call carpenters pants. Wrangler makes some good ones that are not too expensive, and come in a few colors. As I have gotten older and my shape has changed from slim and trim during the 1970's to more stout, I really enjoy the fit and comfort of carpenter pants...might be worth a look? Quote:

Wrangler T-shirts are decent. Double collar around the neck.

I should pay more attention to their goods. One of my fellow trail stewards and bike posse guys does photography, color and creative things for them. Other associates work there, and I pedal by some of their facilities.
Most I know who like their stuff are mostly stocky or obese so I figured their stuff just would not work.

Redhead brand at Bass Pro has excellent t's, henleys, and polos. No logos, nice heavy fabric with double stitched seams, and a good fit for my body style. They launder nice and wear very well too. Lots of colors and the price is right.
