Thanks Tom, I think I'll try one of each. Whenever I have used a pick it's been a 0.88mm Jim Dunlop Primetone so this is new territory for me. |

Congrats on this awesome build. Another vote for the Wegen 1.0. I alternate between those and BC TD 40 or 45's lately.

Thank you Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you at BIG. Hey I know you. I hope you found space in the shop for all of the wood we went through! |

Thanks Mike! I've been a primetone guy too for quite some time. I'm going to give it a shot on the dread as well but the usual suspects mentioned have to be popular for a reason, right?

One other item I forgot to mention. I'm using 12.5-55 curt mangan pb strings on the dread. I'm used to lights for fingerstyle and mediums felt like too much for this application. This in between gauge hits the sweet spot though I might explore 80/20s as well to see how they sound.

Mighty fine geetar you have there Vasu. I'm thinking it may become your favorite Kinnaird!

I'm having a blast getting reacquainted with a pick and am enjoying strumming big open chords. This will definitely be in the stable as a fellow lifer along with the 00-12. Now I'm thinking the 15" body size should be considered to split the difference between the two! |

Awesome build Vasu and congratulations for #2!. I hope you cherish it along with your OO. Only you could source used Alessi tuners.

The tuners are just dumb luck that fell my way. I was searching for various parts of the build and stumbled upon them. I guess fomo can pay off! |
