Beautiful tone. Wonderful playing technique. I first heard of Steve through El McMeen many years ago. It's a delight to hear, and see, him play.

Squire Wood’s Lamentation is favourite.
Tab for Steve's arrangement of Squire Woods is in this month's Acoustic Guitar. I haven't checked in with Steve, but it looks like he may have taken down the video I shared - he wasn't happy with his performance of it, and kept wanting to redo it. There's a new take done at Acoustic Guitar here: https://acousticguitar.com/333

Steve’s hand position has really been influenced by his banjo playing. It’s an interesting approach.

Thanks for this, Doug. Great recording. I really like watching Steve as well as listening. He seems totally inside the music!
