Taylor 414ce-r vs 614ce

Hi folks! Have any of you played the Taylor 414ce-r and the Taylor 614ce? If so, what are the tonality differences between the two that you noticed? I ask because where I am, no store has any stocked. Thanks!

I have. I had one of the 2013 model 616ce's before the new bracing. I liked it but it was pretty bright. The new models aren't quite as bad. I played the 414ce-r, a regular 414ce, 814ce, 914ce and out of all of them I liked the 414ce-r. It didn't seem to be as bright as the others. The new 524 is amazing to me. Just very mellow and the bass response is ridiculous...

Thanks for your reply. I finally got the chance to play a 614ce. I found it a little bright and just mediocre sounding overall. The 414ce-r is a beauty!
