If it's a small intimate place, but still needs some amplification, I'll bring:

- Martin OMCRE with Aura Pro preamp
- TC Helicon Harmony G-XT
- Fishman Loudbox Artist
- Heil PR35

If I'm playing a full room:

- All of the above; I'll use the Loudbox as a monitor
- Takamine EAN20C tuned to Eb (also has onboard pre)
- I'll also bring my pedalboard (Wampler Ego, Source Audio EQ, Radial Elevator, Way Huge Pork Loin. EHX POG 2, Stereo JamMan, Akai Headrush as a delay)
- 2 EV ELX112Ps (powered speakers)
- A&H Zed 10FX
- dbx GoRack

I use a combo of Fishman Loudbox amps, but my main rig is light and simple:

1. Takamine with Cooltube > Audio-Technica wireless > Carbon Copy delay > Neunaber Seraphim reverb > two Loudbox Performers.

or depending on venue:

2. Martin D18 with Baggs M80 > Bodyrez > one Loudbox Performer or Artist using the amp's on board delay...this rig is for smaller venues & intimate settings where my set list is a bit more mellow.

This rig is light, compact, powerful, versatile & sounds wonderful for my taste. I run my vocals thru one of the channels with a SM57a Beta with a touch of on board delay. I play for a living so the simplicity helps me setup/breakdown quickly after years of big pa gear, easy on the ok' back too!

With the band:

Taylor 410 with a Baggs M1 and a Cordoba GK Studio Negra, both into a Radial PZ-Pre with a Flashback delay in the loop. DI out to a Soundcraft MFXi12 then to a set of RCF 310a's and a set of EV ZXA1-sub's. Vocal mic is a Heil PR35.

Solo or small ensemble:

Same guitars and preamp, a few other pedals in the loop, DI out to an A&H ZED10FX, then to 1 or 2 of the 310a's. Same vocal mic.

Even smaller shows and rehearsals:

Same set up but into either my Fishman Loudbox Artist or Genz Benz ProLT.

L.

My preferred setup.

Takamine 2001 LTD > Pedal Board > Zed Mixer > Pair of Yamaha DBR 12s, a BEHRINGER EUROLIVE B1200D-PRO subwoofer and a monitor.

Shure SM58 > DigiTech Vocalist Live FX > Zed mixer

Pedal board: Zoom A3 > HOF Reverb > Digitech Chorus > Boss Blues Driver > MXR 10 band EQ > Jamman solo with the aux foot pedal.

Plus a lot more gear for playing smaller or for adding more musicians.

Eastman E6OM and Gretsch Boxcar with JJB's> Behringer ADI21> Roland Street Cube EX + harp rack, harps, rhythm bones, foot tambourine, mic & stand, multi instrument stand

My wife and her stuff (Banjo, harps, same preamp and pickup setup)

Setup is way different when we go big or do both acoustic and electric, this setup is our norm.

Fishman LB Mini, with a line out to...
Bose L1C
IPad Mini on a mic stand
All the cords necessary to connect to that, the cord to the guitar is a V-Cable

Alvarez MD65 w/Baggs LB6 saddle pickup & Pickup the World #54 Soundboard Transducer

I run a 3' cord to a Baggs Mixpro Belt-Clip Preamp, which gets the pickups (mainly the PUTW) up to line-level and then I run it to the BBE Acoustimax Preamp/DI to give a better dose of gain and clean up the sound a bit.

Depending on where I'm playing, I then either run it from the BBE to the PA or to a Fishman Loudbox-Mini. If I'm playing a large venue, I may use the Mini as a stage monitor and run a line out to the PA. I like having one last stage of gain & EQ, plus the reverb is nice.
