Hmm...my 7MCE reads "GX Player". Like someone mentioned before, it must be a cross between the new GX and the old Player series...or they just forgot to make a new label. You're right...no bling at all and I like it that way. Does yours have the barn door electronics?

If you want to be pleasantly surprised, try a CA 12 string!
I have owned Guild 12 strings for many years.
I friend brought a CA 12 string to a jam session a few weeks ago and he let me play it.
I was totally blown away with it's tone and playability.
My Guilds have double truss rods to strengthen the neck.
The down side is that this produces a wide neck.
I can't play the Guild wide neck these days and I have sold mine.
I now want a CA 12 string.
