Default I Got a Cargo For Christmas!

I've had a Rainsong JM1000 for about 2 years, and without a doubt, it is one of the best sounding and sweetest playing guitars I have ever had. I've been intrigued by the sexy CA body shapes and tone. Actually got to play one about 3 weeks ago (a 5i) that "fit me like a glove". I've been wanting a cutaway guitar since selling my Taylor, and I really "needed" a smaller body size guitar for traveling, and the Cargo seemed to fit the bill. Got mine yesterday, changed the strings immediately (to the D Addario's Mike sent with it). Oh man. What a nice instrument, with great tone, pretty playable (although my fingers need to get used to the wider neck and shorter scale). Here's a link to a clip I recorded (out of the guitar, into the computer, no "adjustments":

Congrats! Getting a new guitar is always great (it feeds the beast - GAS)!

I've had mine since June and I love it. I am now planning to buy a full size CA. I have a set of ebony pins coming in for my Alvarez and I'm going to try them on the Cargo first.

Has anyone tried different pins on their Cargos? If so what was your opinion and waht type did you try?

Well played and the guitar sounded great. I've been on the fence about the Cargo for a while now, but you may have pushed me over.

Tony, nice guitar and a very sweetly played rendition of Silent Night
...but the grimace on your face scared me a bit.
You looked like you were ready to shoot someone. I was relieved to see you smile at the end but for a while, you kinda reminded me of this guy...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, yours, and everyone's!

Congrats on the guitar. Great sound and well played. I had to hang out and listen to a few clips.
