Yes, that's right. This is why I never answer any calls from unfamiliar numbers. I sometimes look them up on complaint board websites like http://phonebook.ai or simply Google them. The point is just to ignore those calls.

If I don’t recognize the number, and there’s no name I decline. My phone (iPhone 8, which I refuse to upgrade) has a Silence Unknown Calls setting. It works very well. If it’s a valid call they can leave a vm. Ninety percent of them turn out to be robocalls or just plain junk and spam.
