My RS is one of the most singularly unique guitars I own. (And I have Collings, Martin & Bourgeois.) First played one several years before acquiring mine and the sound, feel and rumble stayed with me until I found one to buy.
Had a Santa Cruz D12 and while it was a great guitar, just not what the RS is and I let it go.
Everyone who has played my RS has gone "Wow".
Go for it!

I don't remember who said it but....."It's not the things you did that you will regret when your time comes...but the things you did NOT do "..... BUY IT. It is the rare person who is not pleased with a Santa Cruz Guitar.
Report back when you have played it for a month.

A quality used lefty? If it were me, I’d buy it.

Since it is used, your downside is limited. But more likely than not, you will be pleased with it and keep for a good number of years.

One of the few smallish shops making really fine guitars. I'd usually say wait until you can go into an upscale store and play a few, but you might not find even two in most stores, so go for it.

We will need to see the results ! Keep us informed.

Wouldn't it be great if we could meet up sometime in the future and make direct comparisons!

Contacted the seller this morning and have offered what you suggested Silly Moustache- fingers crossed. I will obviously post pictures if it’s a successful NGD as this marks a huge step up from the £1k guitars I own. Feel like a kid in a sweet shop..
