Default 7-string original

First tune on my Emerald X20-7. I bought it over a year ago, and have found the extra string to be quite the challenge. Lots of noodling and experimenting led me to this.

Tuning is BEADF#BE, low to high, with a partial capo at the second fret leaving low B open. Fairly blatant flub toward the end, but I recovered ok

Thanks, Tony. In real life, I do smile, have only one chin, and never make mistakes

Hi David,

Well, that is quite a sound! Nice job; it sounds good!

I kept having to adjust my eyes with 7 strings there! Kind of like, "This can't be right!"

I can see why you have approached that guitar with some level of caution; I would, too!

Well done!

- Glenn

Nice soothing, peaceful tune. Must have composed it after the dogs were asleep!
