Bedells are exceptionally nice guitars that aren’t catching on for whatever reason, but their quality is right there with many of the great high end brands. This is basically a 00 12 fret in size and the one I’ve played in this model could hang with all the Collings, Santa Cruz and others at Artisan. This is a steal of a price.

Larrivee OM-03MT is a real sweetheart of a small guitar.

Martin 00-17A vs SC 00 1929...
Has anyone played both of these? Mind commenting on how they compare tonally. They're both spectacular looking guitars. I've spent some time with the Martin and loved every minute--the tone is to-die-for and the neck is among the most comfy I've played, and light as a feather (3lbs 2ozs on my scale). But I've not seen the Santa Cruz in person and am a real sucker for a pyramid bridge. I hear the SC neck carve is shaper than the Martin; is this true? Is the SC as light weight as the Martin? How's the tone compare? Thank you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB6oiPiIiZ4 vs https://pegheadnation.com/instrument...uthentic-1931/ Last edited by zoopeda; 05-01-2019 at 07:54 PM. |

I'm not familiar with either brand. Is there a model you recommend for these?

Well, I've been playing a Cedar/EIR Webber OM for 20+ years, and have played a few of his OMs. They are terrific, and I can say they are of SCGC quality IMO. I even passed up a SCGC OM/PW (that I could have had for $100 more) a year after my purchase. I've never played one of David's 24.9 scale/14-fret 00 models or his 25.5/12-fret 000 models, but either of these would be great finger pickers (see website). But it won't be easy finding an all Hog Webber. |
