Default Side on Parlor

Here are some shots of the sides getting set up for the black ebony parlor:









If you take a hard look at that last picture you'll see there is already a lot of music wanting to come out of there

From the appearance of those notes it looks like a Jazz guitar to me.

Mark, just curious, that tail block looks pretty special. Is that mohagany or walnut?

That tail block is Black Walnut. I find putting a little extra weight on the tail not only helps with the comfort of play because the guitar balances better but, the extra weight there also helps add a little more sustain. I used some of the Black Walnut from my special1850 stash so it's quite seasoned and unlikely to ever crack.

There was some planning that went into that though it does seem somewhat natural to take pictures of a guitar through a camera lens with a music note shaped aperture.
