Interesting...........my first reaction is that's a lot of top to drive with nylon strings, considering that growth of the upper bout.

Who's the luthier? Oops, missed the intervening posts.

there are some recordings of the guitars at the website...

interesting instrument even if it is based on a faulty assumption - that the sound comes out of the soundhole.

Very cool concept. I'd like to try one.

If anyone has ever tried a guitar with a soundport, there is no mistaking the location of the hole in the side does put sound to the player. And I have a steel string with just a side soundhole, none on the top, and it does put the player in the front row of the audience and seemingly inside the guitar.

This guitar looks like a harp guitar, without the extra strings. Kind of cool.
