Wanted: Luthier/Guitar Repair Man North-East England
Hi folks
Perhaps if you can help you can PM me? I'm looking for someone who is excellent at repairing/tweaking/setting up old guitars. I am loathe to entrust an old jumbo I've acquired to a shop guitar tech as often I have been disappointed with the results. I'm in the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne area but happy to travel if the person comes highly recommended. Thanks all. Slim

You could try Stuart Palmer in Doncaster. He re-topped a 1942 Martin OO-15 for Reg Meuross, and he’s worked on the instruments of a number of high-profile players - including Martin Simpson.
