I like the feel of smaller guitars better. I like the look of a Jumbo better. Sometimes I stray, but then I play a dread and there's that sound. I wish it weren't so, since I don't prefer the look or how a dread fits my body, but the tone is unmatched..

I have always had OM guitars because I come from classical guitar and I thought it would be more comfortable. Now I have a Dreadnought Sloped Shoulder 12 fret and I am loving it!

+1 on Dreadnoughts. It’s all about the Boom!

How you may ask did I come to this epiphany? Years of playing smaller body guitars and never feeling satisfied. I picked up an inexpensive, pre-owned Eastman E10-SS and there it was, the tone I have been missing! Perhaps the shorter scale my contribute to the added ooooomph, but I honestly smile when I play it.

I also can't believe how much more comfortable (to me) a SS is compared to a standard Dread.

That is All.

Ron
I personally prefer Dreads and Jumbos.
