Some great artists mentioned but didn't see any on Ray Price. Seems he passed only yesterday but believe it was in 2013 and that seems so long ago.

To me, hearing his pure voice without any electronic embellishment, is the tops of male country music singers, especially City Lights.

He played guitar, but who cared when you heard him sing....

Great artists for sure. In my humble opinion, as much as I listen to it today. Country is dead. Now it’s pop country. Especially with all the crossover pop artists cutting songs. It shouldn’t be called country anymore.

Love watching Hee-Haw whenever I can find it on tv

Sorry I missed it. I have an album from each of them courtesy of my Dad who loved old school country.

Along with the aforementioned bunch add Jimmie Davis (You Are My Sunshine, Nobody's Darling), Don Williams, Rose Maddox, Keith Whitley---miss those guys!
