Nice.

I love that whole album. Please someone post their version of Seven Island Suite or The Watchman's Gone!

Thanks guys - I wore out the 45 (most folks would have called it the "wrong" side - LOL) and then later on when I bought the vinyl I did enjoy pretty much the whole album. Maybe I'll give "Watchman's Gone" a try next....

Great thread! I really enjoyed all the performances… very fine jobs. I'm hoping some of you guys will play "Beautiful" or "Make Way For the Lady" or "For Lovin' Me."

I did Beautiful a lot about 100 years ago - probably could work that up pretty quickly...

Nick's been working on this all week just for you guys. His favorite Gordon Lightfoot song. He's been wanting to learn it for a while and this thread was a good excuse:

Thanks! Nick's singing still has a ways to go before it catches up to his guitar playing...

Thanks. We first heard it as a Tony Rice cover, then Alison Krauss. Like many, we discovered GL through Tony Rice. Nick liked it the first time he heard it but it took a while to grow on me. Apparently he has better taste than I do...
