Absolutely stunning inlay added to a beautiful guitar. Sometimes greatness is long in the making — but man this was worth the wait. Congratulations and enjoy what I’m sure is an outstanding guitar.

Yes- I live in TN now, but grew up on the West Side of St. Paul (which is where Jim & Sue lived at the time). Do you mean you’re near there, or Circle Pines (where he lives currently)?
Near Circle Pines, I grew up in Blaine.

Beautiful! Now we want sound clips!!!
Your guitar reminds me a little of my own guitar. It's the only guitar I've ever bought new. Like yours, it has a multiple-stringer neck, some nice craftsmanship, and it was built by a small-volume highly talented builder.

Congratulations on your new Olson, she's a beauty ! Now you own a piece of usable art.

Loved the babysitting connection with the Olson's. They are both such humble and kind people.

Just an awesome guitar (and a great story!) - CONGRATULATIONS, and play it in good health. Will be extra sweet to know it was a lovingly bestowed gift.

I saw your guitar in mid-build stage when visiting Jim's shop in late August (to see my own being built). Jim mentioned it was awaiting Larry's inlaid fretboard. In hindsight, wish I took a photo to add to your guitar's 'story'.

Thanks! I know you have a few, so that’s quite a statement.

Yes, you probably do! Our guitars graduated together .

Let's hear it for all those spouses/partners who support us guitar junkies!
Yes, I felt lucky then, and certainly do now.
Yeaaaa! (Applause for guitar-junkie-supporting-spouses)
