I was at all those games, and couldn't agree with you more. Just play hard/hit hard. Lose the cheap shots.

Well, the Leafs are out AGAIN.

For them to lose to the Panthers of all teams, I think I'm done.

Hopefully heads will roll, get rid of the GM Dubas, who put these guys together.

Much respect for the Kraken after last night's loss. Stars and VGK play the same game and should be some series....

Default Conference Finals

Well, I couldn't resist and stayed up for the 4 O.T. game in Carolina this last night (this morning)! Couldn't resist. What a game. Even Gretzky in the TNT studio was whining to go home!

Well, I'll root for Vegas. Glad to see they finally took out Dallas. And will be doubly glad when they take out Florida.

But really, playoff hockey is kind of a drag! Nobody ever gets any space to do anything! The defense is on everybody all the time. So much of the games are spend battling along the boards. Goals are too often just a lucky rebound. Yeah, there are exceptions, but still. Games are mostly defense, to the detriment of offense. Offense is what's exciting, not defense!

Waaay too much time between rounds. VGK hasn't played in 5 days, Panthers in 10! Finals are like an afterthought at this point. I will say that for a series Vegas should win pretty handily, FLA has played 8 consecutive one-goal games on their run to the Finals and seem pretty committed to playing the sticky game.

Great Game 2 last night for us hockey fans. A good, entertaining series, thus far. Vegas has superior discipline then the inexperienced Panthers. Tkachuk, our old Flame here in Calgary, is a dirty player. I now can't stand him. He, Staal, Ekblad - all three have been on the dirty side of chippy. Lomberg (another old Flame!) is just playing his game, but he's trying too check guys through the boards, versus gaining position on the forecheck. Another old Flame, Sam Bennett, has also taken to the dirty side of "chippy". It will cost them the series if Maurice doesn't reign them in.

Bobrovsky also looks beaten. Adin Hill, a south Calgary boy, is playing lights out. I hate the way Vegas, as an organization, does business. Very cutthroat. But I'm pulling for them this series. They deserve to win The Cup. I could see them sweeping the Panthers, but Florida did come back against the Bruins, down 2-nil.

If you're not a hockey fan, watch this series and become one. It's been very entertaining, very physical hockey.

Well, Florida got a second life last night, and squeaked out a win in OT. I think Vegas is playing better hockey overall, so we'll see what game 4 brings us. Fun series thus far!

Yeah, if the Panthers had lost that would have been it. No way they could come back from that, not with Vegas playing the way they are.

There is something about Vegas (admitting I dislike the city itself...) that I dislike. But honestly, they are the better team. They deserve to win the Cup - as much as I hate the idea. Nevertheless, they are the better team.

I am rooting for Florida, but it is a very unlikely outcome. I was happy to see them come out and fight (not fight fight, but work HARD). They seemed weak and lost in Game 2. At this point I would like to see it go to Game 7. There have been some very entertaining moments. And some dumb ones.

Like stupid stupid undisciplined actions. Good grief guys, don't you know where you are? The Stanley Cup Final is bloody hard to get to. Act like it!

Penalty calls have had a few say-what moments, but overall I think the refs have been good.
