Indeed! I've talked to enough folks that I think I will go for the BI-DR1100N2 (like Ken) when I can find one. The CO-DR1100N2 would be my second choice. The VDR or Nashville would be great but they are a little too dear for this particular use.

Nice. Glad to hear about the refund. Just still scratching my head on how a RainSong would fail-being built like tanks but light as a feather.

Glad it all worked out. It's hard to imagine what it took to break a Rainsong. If I were looking for something right now (and I'm NOT) it would be the APSE Al Petteway Special Edition. 24.9" scale and OM size sounds comfy to me....
