Hi Mike,
I only attended one of Lil Bro's jams.

I think you and your wife need to make a date with us for our McJam next year. You can see Neil in person! He still looks like Neil only a little gray hair might be slipping into view.

IIRC it was the third Little Brother jam at his home in Conyers, GA. No comment on the greybeard comment, but at least now people call me “sir” which is nice. By my calendar that was 16 years ago and a lot has happened since then - and a LOT of sleepless nights - so I’ll admit that I need some serious catching up and shake a few cobwebs loose. A lot of the people I met that year or had already known from Harmony Central’s Acoustic Forum but that place is a ghost of its former self and a lot of trails have similarly gone cold.

Hey Mark, you missed me unveiling the guitar that I built with the Carpathian spruce top donated by Zuri from HCAG. He was right: Carpathian spruce is a lot like Adi. I even got to compare it with several Adi-topped guitars that Tim made. Tim's are much better obviously.

Thanks, Rodger. You're looking good, man. Very distinguished.
I intended to be there this year but a couple of medical issues popped up and I not only couldn't drive, I couldn't even walk. Nothing life-threatening but somewhat disabling.
As the Cubbies say, "there's always next year!"

Yo Neil.
Congratulations on finishing that bad boy. All broke in and nicely aged by the time you finished it.
I can kinda relate, being a wee bit broken and definitely aged, myself.
If it's at all like adirondack, I know I'll like it, Neil.

And to all you McJammers wherever you are:
peace out, homeys.

Sorry to hear about your medical issues. I hope you're well on your way to 100%.

Thanks for the "distinguished" compliment. That's my pandemic beard. I had a pandemic pony tail, too, but had to get rid of it. My employer is OK with a beard, but not a pony tail.

See you next year Mark!
