Don’t forget, most audiences will contain some folks who want LESS SOUND, as well as hopefully most wanting GREAT SOUND.

I try to spare the folks who would like to talk, eat, and drink, etc. in relative quiet, as I am frequently one myself when out and about.

DJs are often the worst offenders. When there is no escape from the racket in the venue I’m leaving ASAP. I am NOT blowing out what hearing I have left with disco MP3s thru nasty sounding speakers. Ear protection is good, but I can’t go there for very long either…

I don’t run power tools anymore either!

I use an old Carvin AG 300 amp . With the matching speaker cabinet . Paid for , more power than I have never needed . Looks good snakeskin .
