Default La Gran Jota Aragonesa (Tarrega)

Here is my version of this beloved piece, often played as an encore on classical guitar concerts. Hope you like it!

Cheers,

Wow!

Besides a great performance the recording sounds good as well, as does that beautiful Thames.

I listened to this last night and it knocked my socks off. You are highly skilled and your tone is beautiful.

Ok I quit!
Excellent playing and interpretation.
One comment - please toss this out if you disagree.... I think you'd get more excitement on this piece if you brighten the tone your thumb is producing. It does not match the party atmosphere that your i, m, a fingers are generating and interpreting.

Great playing!!

Thanks, and I agree with you! I broke the nail on my thumb pretty badly and was desperate for it to grow faster. When I recorded this, the nail had grown just sufficiently but not enough to have a brighter sound with a normal angle or position of the right hand. If I wanted to sound brighter, I had to pluck almost 90 degrees against the strings and it was not very natural.

I did my best to play it comfortably and get a decent sound, but today it will sound brighter for sure.
