Someone mentioned the Coppola Claret. A second thumbs up.
I'm anything but a wine expert, but we really love Italian Chiantis in the $20.00 range. Pretty hard to beat. scott |

This is my wife's department. At last count she has over 100 bottles of wine in our basement - so she has little room to criticize my "guitar addiction."
I couldn't tell you what's good but my wife tends to shy away from local wines here in Pennsylvania and from down in Virginia because they're too "sweet" and anything out of Napa is overpriced. More recently she went to Spain and came back raving about the wines there but for the life of me I couldn't remember any details. We typically do a couples' getaway to the Niagara wine region on the Canadian side during the harvest. More recently the Finger Lakes in New York.
