Thought I'd update this thread.

After having the guitar for a few weeks, I asked Steve if he could do a bit of neck reshaping near the headstock and recut the nut with slightly wider string spacing. I don't mind my E strings closer to the edge and requested the neck change to better facilitate my tendency to play with my thumb at the middle of the neck (no thumb-over for me). He happily accommodated my somewhat nitpicking request (my judgment, not his! :-), saying "you order a custom guitar, it should be exactly what you want". Of course, I could have been clearer prior to the build... mea culpa.

I am astonished every time I look at the guitar at its sheer beauty - and can't get over its full rich tone (this is my 4th all-mahogany 000 -previously 2 Martins and a SCGC) and easily my favorite - which of course it should be, since I had it built to my specs by a luthier who paid very special attention to creating a guitar that reflected exactly what I wanted!

That might be the nicest mahogany I've ever seen.

Hey everyone, I don't know if resuscitating this thread is proper protocol, but I had a bunch of inquiries as a result of it, so I thought I'd try it here.

So I just wanted to point out to those folks who were curious that I finally have a web site up and running.

www.denvirguitars.com

Thanks to everyone for their patience.

Steve
