One last thing to try. I replaced the bridge pins in my wife’s L-00 this AM. I had a set of rosewood pins and just wanted to give it a try. Surprisingly it seemed to make a difference in the tone with a pick that I could hear. I played it for a minute, then loosened the strings and changed the pins, then tuned up right away and played for 30 minutes. It seemed a little better to me.

Gibson Masterbuilt Premium Phospher Bronze lights. That’s what my new 2023 l-00 Original was shipped with…l can’t imagine anything better! No adjustments or mods were necessary. Setup and build were flawless. Kudos to Gibson Bozeman! ☮️
