Heard This Song on the Radio and Decided to Pick it Up
It was the Brook Benton hit but when I saw who wrote it I decided to go to the source. Glad I did.

Tony Joe White is just fabulous, as is that song. My favorite version is the live one from the Live In Austin record. (That was what the show was called before it became Austin City Limits) That man has the full package. Give him a Strat and a harmonica and he can entertain a room all night. He doesn’t even need a band.
