Thanks for the kind words everyone :-).

The only post production was a little reverb since the clip was recorded in mono. Otherwise just the guitar and the mic.

With regard to the comparison with the G2 (Madagascar/Lutz - the G4 is African Blackwood/Alpine)), I was quite surprised but the G2 tends to be a little more open, whereas this one is a little more focused. What was really surprising was that the G2 has a bigger low end. I would have thought with the larger body the G4 would have been the guitar with the bigger bass. I think the G4 has a little more pronounced midrange also, while the trebles are pretty similar with each.

We recorded one tune with both guitars to get a comparison and when Michael is finished with that clip I'll post it as well.

Zombie thread!

I nearly freaked when I read the OP ordered the guitar in 2012...surely Greenfield doesn't have a 11 year list...but then saw the 2016 date.

If the OP is representative of many of the AGF (including myself), it was sold years ago to fund the habit.
