Default John Fogerty Enfuego!

I saw John in concert at Mohegan Sun Casino last week and I was blown away. His voice is as good as ever. He played for 2 hours and did his complete catalogue (Except for Suzy Q....is that an original?). Anyway what really struck me is how well he plays guitar. I had never realized that. Really stuck to the recordings and nailed each and every song. He announced that he was ecstatic to get his catalogue of songs back-after 50 years of legal tugs-of-war, and he was on top of the world. He gave credit to his wife who never gave up the fight. It was also touching to see his 2 sons, gifted musicians in their own right, as members of the band. If you ever get a chance, go see them!

He really is one of the most talented and best preserved musicians of his era - along with Steve Winwood. Has lots of energy for a guy his age!

Glad he won his battles - seemed like he was definitely treated unfairly from what I'd read.
