Default Obscure Archtop

Hi
I know its a big ask but can anybody shed any light on the guitar I just acquired? It's made by a company called Vintage (John Hornby Skewes) . Thier guitars frankly have a bit of a dubious reputation. Which brings me to the point. This guitar is a dream. I cant find anything like it on the internet. It is made of solid Maple, weighs a ton, plays real sweet, and is a beautiful piece of workmanship. But nothing about it anywhere. The cut out is rounded, but they only produce guitars with sharper cutouts. The absolutely original abalone inlay is not a feature they use. It seems to me to be a budget brand now, so I would guess nobody would bother to fake one. Any info or ideas would be most welcome.

Thanks

Fimbler
