Just played my friend's L-3 last night. It's a '26 (I think) round hole model. I'd played it before but never really bonded with it. He had the action a little too low, so I just dialed the adjustment up on the bridge a little and it just came to life! We jammed for a couple hours, and I fell in love with that L-3. Man, what a cool guitar! I'm not sure if I'd trade my '39 L-37 for it, but I'd be tempted if the offer were on the table.
