Default Stephen Warshaw 1977

While visiting Chicago over a long weekend we went to Guitar Works in Evanston. Amongst the used Martins and such I found an extraordinary guitar from a Maker I had never heard of, Stephen Warshaw. A 12 fret Brazilian and mystery spruce, perhaps Sitka given the age, it sounded magnificent, clearly the equal of any fine guitar currently available. Research revealed he was better known as a classical builder, and a friend of Alan Carruth.
