Nope. I play a D18 S which is a 12 fret with a wide fingerboard.

I've only owned 3 good guitars in my life, and one was a classical, but my Lowden S-32 whupped everything else I compared it to, when I used to take it to stores comparing it , in the fingerstyle style . Wonderfully responsive; too responsive at first, because I didn't have the finesse to control it . Not perfect, and certainly not the best (but it's up there) , but it's my favorite .

One of my two Froggy Bottom Guitars.

They are both strong, clear, warm and articulate. The H12c has a slightly shorter scale and wider nut/string spacing so is ideal for complex fingered pieces with a rich voice. The F has a longer scale and slightly larger body and excels in dropped tunings, but also has stunning clarity.

One of the things that I love about Froggy Bottom Guitars is that, to my ear, they hit the perfect balance between sustain and dryness. They are not a guitar voice where everything always rings forever. The trebles have a marvelous balance of crystal bell quality and fatness. Melodies hang just perfectly without being unnaturally sustained. The partials are there but you don't notice them and they don't overshadow the melody or chords. The bass notes are firm and not tubby.

I find playing these guitars (and I've played 20 or more) effortless, allowing me to forget the guitar and concentrate on trying to express things musically. The guitar is much better at its job than I am.

Whoa, I almost feel a strange rumbling in my gut , but since I'll probably never actually play a Froggy , I might as well not even indulge this pre-gaseous state . The H12c does sound like it's right up my alley though.
I'm making a mental note, thanks. I know you play Lowden too, so this is a good piece of evidence for me .

Right now it's my Martin 00-15, but I'm hoping next week it'll be my just-purchased Larrivee P-05.

Best one I've played recently was an Eastman E20p.
