I just got my new Rainsong Black Ice OM the other day. So far, I think the N2 neck is great. I don't think it's very chunky at all. No problems here.

I think there is a difference between a neck that works and one that is your preference. There is a poll right now on the main forum on neck profile preference. Seems to show a U or D neck prefered by at best 15%?

very surprised to hear you are struggling with the N2 neck, but neck shape is sooooooooooooo individual and everyone has a different anatomy which can cause problems with any shape. The Ns shape for me is one of the most comfy of any guitar I have owned. Its got some size without feeling too big and the back shape feels great.
Move on and don't look back, never settle for something that causes you discomfort.

The N2 neck works well for me. I prefer moderate-sized necks, can't get along with those that are very skinny, nor those that are very fat. The N2 seem just right.
