Certainly a gorgeous guitar! The ab inlay is striking. Can't wait to hear it.

Thanks for the color, Canada!

Thanks for your kind posts, folks.

The Sitka top is spectacular. I will try to take a close-up photo with proper lighting. The "silking" is so well-defined and consistent throughout the entire surface.

I worked until 3 am last night and didn't have time to set up my LED lights but I will show off the back this weekend.

In the mean time, here's another photo with ambient lighting.

Wow, what a beautiful guitar! I am so happy for you, Mau!

I would love to play that guitar to see what it's like, though I realize that's not likely to happen any time soon. But, I will look forward to hearing your recordings of this guitar whenever you can get to it. I know you are busy -- we can wait.

Wow! Good for you!

- Glenn

Just wanted to add my congratulations to you on a wonderful guitar. Maple is one of my favourite tonewoods, it is great to have a choice of 'colours' in the sound palette. A lovely trio, you have very good taste.
I also love the fingerboard styling. It would be interesting to hear the same instrumental on each guitar, perhaps a poll to allow us a guess at each....
Finally, I thought I spotted a bit of runout on

the floorboards.

Thanks again everyone for posting. I really appreciate your support and will respond individually soon.

While the hardwood floors are far from mastergrade, the Sitka top and maple back/sides are virtually faultless...

Congratulation Mau. I hope this SJ from Jim enchants you like your others have. While I am certain you will create recording(s), an A-B-C unidentified BRW/Cedar-Mahogany/Cedar-Maple/Sitka Olson SJ demo of the same piece would be instructive should you find the time.

Kudos

Turned 39 this year, i like doing crazy number calculations and found out 39 is 3exp3+3exp2+3exp1.
(Next year +3exp0) looks like a good reason to celebrate. (For me however not with such a fancy guitar).
