[QUOTE=JoeCharter;4576567]After Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Circle Pines is the place in the US that I've visited most often...
That is really funny. I am pretty sure you are one of the few, if not the only person that can make that statement. It takes a good 3 minutes to see all of Circle Pines. |

Hi Mau,
I, too, am looking forward to seeing the final photos of this lovely guitar. It's going to be another stunner, I believe! - Glenn

Using a pick doesn't mean that you necessarily need to hammer your guitar like Neil, you know? If you want to play like the young and angry Neil, better stick with your Martin D. Elegant flatpickers like Tony Rice have a much more moderate attack -- and same goes for Russ Barenberg on his Olson: https://youtu.be/dcSnqiRFFS4 Otherwise if you do a search on YouTube for "Applegate SJ" you'll find plenty of demos with strumming involved. |

I've been to Los Angeles 10-15 times (can't remember exactly) as most of my family lives there. The stereotype about Asians being compulsive gamblers doesn't apply to me -- but it does to the rest of my family so that explains the multiple trips to Vegas...

I love how the inlays look against the light body. Short of a full vine inlay, these are probably my favourite fretboard markers. |

Here's a last photo update before the guitar gets strung up.
I am extremely pleased with the way that the top and back have turned out under finish. Last edited by JoeCharter; 09-20-2015 at 10:15 AM. |

I thought gentlemen preferred Blondes....
This build has really come together nicely - can't wait to hear what she sounds like.
