That's a very nice version--really enjoyed it! Did you know that it was written about Mort, Neil's 1948 Buick Roadmaster hearse?

Hi Rene,

Great job. One of my faves. I've been playing it a long time, trying to sound like Neil. Not gonna happen I like how you made it sound like Rene!

Nice job on this, Rene!

I don't know the original, but I really like what you did here! Great job on both your vocal and your guitar work!

Hi reeve21,
On this song, I was not worried about singing like Neil, I could not even make it close to his lovable sound. And thanks for liking "my own" Neil Young classic.

Hi Glen,
I am so glad I was able to deliver this version to you first!
You now can lister to Neil's version, now that you've heard how its supposed to be sung, hahahahaha.
Respectfully,
Rene

That was great! Mort would approve I think. Neil has a connection with some of his cherished vehicles. One great story was the time he asked his caretaker at his ranch to find a parts car to help restore his old worn down Mercedes. Word came back, "Neil, I found one and she is mint!" So Neil said get it. Then he said to tear down the mint car and rebuild my tired car. "Why?" Because I like my car was Neil's reply.

Hi Jobe,
I would probably do what he did, as my love for my vehicles are personal.
I have a Toyota 4Runner that I am now paying attention to, and fixing the little things that I was not paying attention to.
1998, manual transmissikon, simply love this truck/SUV.
I am sure Neil did not care how his cars were restored, he just wanted them alive and kicking.
Thanks Jobe!!!
Respectfully,
Rene
