Welcome to the AGF! Great to hear that you've picked the guitar back up. It's a great journey, regardless of your age.

Trying to get the rust knocked off. Looking forward to learning from you folks.

Welcome to the forum! My son is 16, thinking of IU's Music School (he plays viola). I live in Canada now, but grew up in the States, so I am familiar w/IU/Indiana/Big Ten Sports/et al. Great state, Indiana. Our priest is from Fort Wayne!

Everton,

My son was a percussionist in IU's Marching 100. Even though he was Journalism major.

Welcome from another Indianapolis resident. We've lived in the Fountain Square area near downtown for the 22 years that we've been in Indy. Be sure to visit Arthur's Music Store if you're ever in the area.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome from another Hoosier! Born and raised in Gary IN...used to shoot hoops with Michael Jackson back in the day (not really, though we did live downtown when I was younger).

I can relate too. Wonder what we were all doing back then that was so important that we didn't pick up a guitar?

Thanks for the welcome. About the number of guitars, I understand. Take a gander at my signature. I am looking at this time for the next one.

Trying to get my wife to say go ahead if you have to on a Gibson Dove. That is the holy grail for me.

But after a few months of it's only $$$ she may break down on maybe an Epiphone Dove. Or maybe another Takamine.
