Just learned of this video a month or two ago. I just can't watch it enough.

I knew one or two of his things vaguely, but never really listened. I now think "Devil Got My Woman" is the best Delta blues recording - better than anything Robert Johnson ever did - and a real work of art. Lke MJH he survived to be filmed in the 60s, in this shy, rather off-hand performance of Crow Jane: http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...eply&p=2444441 - he's not trying too hard on this one, but you can sense the artistry in the vocal details. Notice his guitar style is very close to MJH's (which is my main reason for appending this here). |

"make me a pallet on your floor" one of his best. Love to hear it and play it. you can have a lot of fun fooling with this one all you need is the basic chords and then just go with how you feel it ... F/C/E7/ G with lots of hammer ons and pull offs even capo it . works all over the guitar.
