Thanks for this, I enjoyed reading it as well... loved the paraphrase of Gilbert Shelton's classic line!

True enough that our goodwill to others (and ourselves, most importantly!) will shine through this difficult time... and music is such a marvelous gift to share, even if it's just vibrating resonance out into the Universe!

Mr. Hoover did a presentation at The Music Emporium last year(?), and he seemed liked just the nicest guy.

btw, I first read that quote in an issue of the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers ... of course, their version was a bit ‘edited’ ... anyone else remember that?
