Resource for practicing 7/8 or 7/4 time?
Any recommendations for apps, sites, videos, etc., to practice playing in 7/8 or 7/4? Maybe something a little better than a click track. My trusty drum machine app has 7/8, but it's too "busy" to use for this.
Thanks! |

GuitarToolkit app has some decent beats in that time. See also YouTube for some samples https://youtu.be/seIRqZ1d1p4

I have a metronome app which allows me to accent beats or off beats, so one could ideally set up a 7/? and accent offbeats to give you a feel for playing in 7. Perhaps your drum machine allows that too? My iOS metronome is called Dr.Bettotte TC. It's a copy of a specific (Dr Beat) Roland metronome. It's available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
