I was perhaps a tad liberal with the word “accidental”!
And when I mentioned the simplicity of the Tele, I meant that raw Tele sound. I am sure the higher end ones are phenomenal though. I don’t typically use the S1 switching, but I use and LOVE position 4. It is pseudo-humbucker in tone. But still sounds Fendery. The Sienna Burst sealed the deal with the Strat. It is gorgeous!

Update: man this thing is phenomenal! I really like the tall narrow frets. And it makes me wish all of my guitars had satin necks. It is a joy to play in rvery way.
...and it’s pretty. Cool case as well!

I have two Strats, an American Std that I bought new in '89, and a Lone Star Strat from a few years back. But I bought 'em on purpose.
Both are great guitars - the Lone Star has now become my main guitar with our band. |
