Default Bose L1 systems clearing out

If youre in the market for the outgoing generation of bose sound sticks, this is the most Ive ever seen them discounted. Making room for the Pro series, I suppose.

Yeah, I saw this the other day and don't know much about Pro Audio Star so I didn't post it. The current Sweetwater price for the ole' L1 Model 1S with a B1 is $1439.

I've always thought that Bose polices the price of its stock pretty closely, so the price difference is noteworthy.

There was just a thread about PAS. Those discounts are pretty substantial, so just passing them along. Perhaps if theyre discontinued, they allow discounts? I was almost tempted to call my SW rep and ask about their best price.

Oh I don't mean to imply they're illegitimate or something, and their return policy sounds very solid. Just don't know much about them. I'm frankly surprised the prices for the old line are still as firm as they are on the sites I frequent.

Edit: Pricing for a Bose L1 Model 1S with a B1 is chaos I tell you! B&H: $1619; Guitar Center and Musician's Friend: $1619; Sweetwater: $1439; Pro Audio Star: $969.
