How does it sound compare to your Cargos? In your video, compared to MacNichol's, it sounds a little more like a small Emerald and a little less like a larger guitar (for which the Cargo may still be the winner???). Thanks, Jon

Nicely done as usual Kramster. Alistar convinced me to add a T8 to my last order so one is on the way from Ireland as I write this. Looking forward to checking it out.

Long drive from Ohio but my wife and I love Arizona so ya never now. Flying with Carbon is not as risky. Steve

Looking forward to the comparison video.

I've played and owned a Cargo, should have held on to that one. However, the game has changed since then and the Shorty had my eye..... now the T8 has entered the ring. It is great to have choices, but makes it hard to decide.

Comparison videos help a lot!

I agree! Comparison videos are super helpful. It's nice if you can also share what strings are on each guitar.

That is quite debatable Lisa. There is a comparison video here of the three limited GS Mini Taylors with the three different laminated tops. All three are the same except for the final layer of wood laminate but after playing all three for us the store owner proceeds to describe the differences getting his descriptions of each tone wood right off the Taylor website. I replayed that youtube video several times and it did sound like the rosewood laminate war warmer but that was all I could hear. So a few days later I went down to LA Guitar Sales and played all three limiteds along with a standard model and you know what, not only did they not sound like the video but they were as identical tonally as four wood guitars could get. T

A professional recording that does not have to transmitted through a low fi internet site like youtube might be of some use to someone looking for the right sound for a recording they are doing but youtube videos don't come close enough to the real sound of acoustic guitars to be much help.
